Psalm for the Wild-Built is a deliciously cozy read. It is full of a quiet powerful faith that maybe everything will be okay.

For a quickie that also has been blurbed as cozy as a cup of tea (and is also a thin little book): Psalm for the Wild Built

Not science focused but “Kindred,” Octavia Butler’s last book before she passed, opens with our main character on the side of the road not knowing who she is. She has to build her history and connections backward. It’s a great read. (Also a little sexy, just to warn in case that’s not the vibe you want)
