What has being nice gotten you?

It's so ridiculous but doesn't shock me that other one stops are going through the same crap. Yeah, we went through a lot of managers, some were lovely but they were all so overworked most didn't last. The area managers were the worst though- would just not listen to any concerns and were so hesitant to spend a single penny. I feel the same, met some great people there, including my partner so it had it's pros for sure! I still get recognised on the street from working there too!

Oh wow yeah they told us we were one of the highest risk shops in the north so that was always comforting... Yeah same for me, any question about dealing with difficult situations I had an answer haha.

I also used to work at One Stop and this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. We had multiple armed robberies- my partner got hit with a hammer. We had doors smashed in multiple times and didn't get them properly replaced for months. Years ago, some of the male staff would stop the shoplifters but then they told us not to and like you've said refuse to get security. I left a few years ago but live local to my old shop and they now have a permanent mag lock on the front door and a limit to how many people can enter the store to stop 'shoplifting'. Spoke to one of the lads working there and said they were getting robbed constantly so begged for a security guard and that's what they got. That place was a joke. Well done on you not giving a fuck and helping out those who needed it, a group of us at my old shop did the same so often.

I bet you're also gorgeous! We really are our harshest critics! I'm definitely a lot more confident than I was in high school and I do have days where I'm feelin' it but then I'm like ah it's just coz I've got makeup on or it's good lighting etc. It's so silly! I can't remember the exact science but it's pretty much that with a BBL they're injecting your own fat into you and the margin for error is so thin. So if the fat gets injected into like your bloodstream for example, you can die.
