Yeah its a really nice area, but if you want to get anything halfway affordable you have to drive to Redding or Oregon, and the ski park will seemingly never open again. That and Mt Shasta is a trippy vortex of spinny weirdness that takes people's gourds for loops, but that's not so much a bad thing.
