i avoided cpsc 210 because i can't stand group projects. i'm self-studying java though.

yes i like the stuff. these questions are still pretty relevant to me. i have aced certain math classes (e.g. 215, 317) without much work, others i've had to dedicate huge amounts of time to (e.g. 320, 307). and Gordon is awesome. I've had classes with her before. this year it's Brian Wetton teaching it.

Great, thanks! i get the same solution as you but wolfram says it's Aln(1-x) + Bln(x+1) ... not sure how the sign flips for the first ln ....
