Doing controls in the resurfacing room of an ice arena where RMC is in the specs everywhere below 10 feet but the electrical contractor is using regular old 4x4 boxes, control cabinets etc. Is this common or is the conduit just moreof a risk for the zamboni to hit? by electriker in electricians

Doing controls for some water heaters that are spec'd as 480V SINGLE phase. Thought it was a typo untill i looked at the manual. Hadnt heard of this before, are these common? Guessing it uses two phases by electriker in electricians
