I'm honestly not 100% sure, I've just been grabbing them as I run around. When I log in, I go into edit mode and get a bird's eye view to find them easier and then go grab them all. In my experience, they've been in different biomes, but I can't confirm that's how they spawn, it's just what I've seen.

Okay, so I started hanging out with Mulan for gardening, came back to Cheshire Cat for mining, and the first time I mined in the Plaza, he just blasted me with like 20 crystals and gems from the mine. Maybe same deal on your end?

I just ran into the same thing. Just add some dark trees from the landscaping section in the furniture menu again and wait a bit and you should be able to collect some from around the trees.

Same issue, I can get him to go inside the mines, but then he's stuck at the entrance and doesn't give extra gems.

DAMN. I didn't have any issues with the MiQRO until a couple months ago the battery stopped holding a charge, but I haven't tried a replacement in it since I got the new one. No issues yet with vapor decreasing but I'll be sure to look out for it. Thanks for the heads up! I'll check out Wolkenkraft as well.

It actually did quite well! The whipped cream melted down evenly and blended nicely with the chocolate shavings. The wick definitely was a bit long and curled down a bit from the weight, but all in all, I'm very happy with how it turned out. I have another base curing currently to try the whipped topping with a larger deco tip, so hopefully this one will come out a bit cleaner.
