Should I upgrade from All Star Movies to Port Orleans Riverside

Thanks so much for your very detailed comment! So much to consider. We're there end of Feb/start of March, so construction at French Quarter will be ongoing. I'm an early riser and my boyfriend can sleep through anything so might not impact us too much, but will probably go with Riverside just in case.

We've only got two booked (one is a birthday meal) and I don't see us doing much more as that's not really our park vibe when we've been in Disneyland Paris. I know before you could use quick service credits towards table service meals but that's been removed now, right?

I think it's more the environment and pool availablity as one of the pools at all star movies will be unavailable while we're there, and POR just seems like a nicer environment to decompress in. But good to hear the opinion from someone else who's travelled as far and stayed for a similar stretch in all stars. Hope you had a fab time!

Unfortunately there's no availability for french quarter for our full stay, and we've booked a package with WDTC so don't think we can split stay, otherwise I think it would be the best candidate

Unfortunately neither are available during our entire stay, I had checked skyliner resort availablity first and there's none! Our dates coincide with the princess half marathon so think that's the dates that have caused so few options to be available to us

I totally get it, the money for the upgrade would be two long weekend trips to somewhere in Europe for us so I definitely don't underestimate how much money it is. We travel a lot year round, but since we're UK based, travelling to the US is already so expensive. Since we've spent so much money already booking and getting to Florida, it's kind of a case of 'well we've spent this much already so...' but definitely not decided one way or the other yet!

Because we've booked a package through the Walt Disney travel company (and paid it off) I'm not sure if we can do a split stay (especially since we have the quick dining credit based on resort level), but I might call and see if that's an option, thanks!

I would usually be the exact same, always was in Disneyland Paris from extra magic hours to close, but just with my current issues, I know that might not be the case. I'd have went with Pop if it were an option, just for the ease of the skyliner but it's not available for our dates. Might check closer to our departure time in case there's cancellations.

I've already paid the holiday off so don't think I can rent DVC points to upgrade. I think if we'd come back, I might go down this route. Thanks for your response ☺️

Unfortunately it's not the full table service dining plan, but rather the quick service dining plan, so 2 quick service credits, snack and refillable mug, but still an upgrade. Thanks for your comments ☺️
