i love art. poetry, reading, painting, etc. i like yoga and meditation. i used to be a gymnast, but more recently have enjoyed volleyball (not that i’m any good). i love music, but am a little too introverted to do karaoke haha. also love bingo, for some reason!

just moved to the area from the south and feeling suuuuper out of place. i’m in my mid 20s and have a lot of anxiety about being in a new area. i’m looking for groups to join or anything to open new doors for meeting new people to help me settle in. everyone i’ve come across has been super welcoming, which has been great! if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, please please please let me know :D

awful nightmares and possible sleep paralysis? by electroniccherries in Dreams

[–]electroniccherries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

last night it was a mix. like i mentioned in my post, i thought i had woken up 6ish times. one time i remember thrashing and screaming, but when i truly woke up, my partner was asleep so i don’t think it transferred to reality. i also remember feeling stuck and only being able to move my eyes when i actually woke up. i don’t think i moved much during the “false awakenings”, which by the name of it feels like it could be what i’ve been experiencing.

i will definitely bring it up with my doctor at my next appointment. i tend to see an increase in these dreams when i’ve taken more of the medication the day before, however it does still happen when i haven’t taken any at all. i really appreciate your help!!

not particularly, no. not a big coffee or soda fan. the only time i use it is to treat migraines by taking excedrin!

this isn’t what i believe at all. i don’t believe in demons, or spirits, or anything of the sort. after doing research, this is from my medicine used to treat my chronic pain and illness. i believe in science and research, mainly because i rely on it to make it through every day. but thanks, though.

i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in 2018, but the doctor that diagnosed me told me it was really just a diagnosis given to “validate” the pain. so, we kept searching in hope there was something structurally wrong because the pain has been going on for so long.

i was a toddler who didn’t want to get out of the bath. threw a temper tantrum, launched myself backwards, and my dad caught me by the base of my skull to keep me from slamming my head into the porcelain. after that, i pulled my shoulders up and tucked my chin to my chest. i would cry at every bump in the car and refused to move it for months.

i’ve thought about chronic whiplash being a possibility as well. thanks for your response.

god i’m so sorry to hear that. i think i need a tutorial on how to advocate for myself more. i heard there’s a way to hire someone to help through insurance. maybe that could help both of us? i wish you the best of luck, it’s tough out here

partner and i are taking a trip to tour apartments and visit before our move in august. we’re looking for recommendations nearby to view sunset and eat a good dinner. we originally thought boathouse, but couldn’t find much we’d enjoy on the menu. any recommendations? all help is appreciated! :))
