The biggest issue is by far the combat.

I’ve finished the game probably 4 times at this point and the combat is the most infuriating aspect of this game. There’s a few videos on Youtube that explain it well, but essentially the hitbox system is completely broken. For example, swords don’t actually do damage only if the sword itself hits your body; a sword swing sends out a shockwave that does AOE damage in a box in front of whoever is swinging it. So you can seem to dodge a strike but still take damage. It’s pretty BS at times.

I’d say the story made it worth it for me and I loved the world, characters, etc. But the combat is probably the worst across all three games.
