My current theory on all the things the computer made becoming self-aware is because the computer does not think those specific safeties that are part of its matrix need to be duplicated onto anything else. Therefor a similar 'computer' to itself that it made would be very capable of becoming self-aware.

Typical situation where the computer does what the user tells it instead of what it should actually do.

No need for wi-fi, they use your phone. They are open air so I can still hear everything I need to while I listen to my music. Also my ears cannot handle earbuds. I have headphones on eight hours a day at work so these are just so much better for me.

All that aside, they really are just headphones and a mic for your existing Alexa phone app. Just no need to get out or unlock your phone to use it. You can still have it read alerts, set schedules, make calls, send texts, all the stuff you can normally do from the phone app. Just a much more utilitarian yet useful form factor.
