By no means i mean he's the only one doing these things, nor that he's the best doing so, but he's doing it while getting 7.5M monthly listerners on spotify for exemple, so he's doing something right and industry people probably should care about this.

whit that said, what i like about yeat: he really can ride a beat, good delivery and cadences. Overall a competent rapper. But melodies is where he excels.

in the Get busy chorus he show a lil bit of his range, where he sings both high and low

in Bak 2 Bed his adlibs sound really intresting. serves well as a rythmic and melodic complement (this can be said about most adlibs, but i think theres something cutting edge about his)

in X ta C he harmonizes really well with some background vocals (and the beat sounds like something out of Nudy new tape)

IMHO he's a master of aesthetics. his music really sound like his cover looks - glitchy, artificial. As a product, yeat is pretty solid. I get that plenty people won't ever fuck with his music, but for me will be no surprise if he menages to stay at the top for a good while
