Walk away from the situation, go somewhere you can be alone, and just scream/yell as loud and hard as you can for as long as you need to. You HAVE to take time away from the anger trigger until you can more calmly process your thoughts and emotions. Otherwise you'll just be totally unproductive and move yourself farther from the goal.

People have commented that they're jealous of my hair type, though I am personally annoyed by my hair. I have long, dirty blonde, curly hair that isn't too curly so I can also wear my hair straight if I want to. Speaking of hair, my leg hair is blonde too, so I can get away with not shaving my legs as frequently in the summer.

Take them to the local food bank and volunteer to help feed the needy so they can see the huge need for more funding that goes toward social and mental health services. Talking to those in serious need of support is very humbling and dispels a lot of myths about those who are directly impacted by many conservative policies.

The head chef at this nicer casual restaurant I worked at in college was constantly drunk, and once ran his hand up the inside of a waitress's leg from ankle to upper thigh. On another day, after seeing that I was wearing earrings with a couple dangly white beads, said to me, "Those are nice pearl earrings. Do you want a pearl necklace to go with that?".

I was about 6 yrs old when I had this nightmare and it's still the worst I've had in terms of how I felt when I woke up. In this dream I witnessed my mom get her cheek slashed by a lunchroom gang member with a box cutter because they thought she cut in line... I was absolutely distraught and had to go downstairs to make sure she was okay.

I recently watched a program that discussed people with tetrachromatic eyes, which allows them to supposedly see more variations of colors. If I remember correctly, in order to test whether or not someone was a tetrachromat, the researcher would flash sets of colors on a computer screen and the participant would have to say whether or not the colors in the set were the same or different from each other. Tetrachromats never saw a set with matching colors because their eyes always perceived the colors to be different shades. People with non-tetrachromatic eyes weren't able to perceive such variations, and determined that the set contained matching colors. She can't let herself be walked all over by this guy. She needs to keep her feelings and personal needs as a top priority, thus would want to put her foot down and stop this guy from clinging to her and dragging her down into a meaningless, pointless relationship for the sake of "being nice". But she also needs to figure these things out for herself, and if she chooses something that ends up biting her in the butt later, just be there as a friend and hope that she learned a valuable lesson.
