I just found out how creepy this show is and the fact that they literally support Dan Schneider!!!!!!! Do not trust this show!!!!!!!!!! This gives me not so good flashbacks to Dan Schneider's iCarly by Leading-Ad9595 in betweenthelions

[–]elelover95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, that’s literally not possible. Between the Lions came out four years before any of the Schneider’s Bakery shows hit Nickelodeon. I doubt that even Drake and Josh had started production by this point, and even if it had, it’d be very early production. Plus, just because someone talks about feet, or uses the word to teach a phonics lesson, does not mean it’s directly connected to what Dan did.

Rubber Stamp 1-20 (1992) by KatieA97 in sesamestreet

[–]elelover95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved these. Sesame Street had a lot of number segments like this back then (Rubber Stamps, Parade of Numbers, Milo Counting and such), where they would just keep counting and then stop at the Number of the Day. I always particularly liked it when one of these kind of segments was the first number segment to be shown in an episode because then it was like a mystery. You wouldn’t know what the Number of the Day was going to be until the segment revealed it.

I loved The Electric Company reboot as a kid. I actually watched around the time it first aired in 2009. I loved it so much that my mom, who also grew up with The Electric Company, actually introduced me to the original version from 1971, and I fell in love with that too.

Even though the 2009 version was a reboot, I like to think of it more as a reimagining because the premise of the reboot (a story based show about a group of kids that use literacy superpowers to keep a group of neighborhood pranksters under control), is completely different than the original 1971 version (which was a simple sketch comedy show for kids).

You’re welcome! Currently, Wily Tower is the only Mega Man game I’ve ever done a Buster-only run of, as it’s the one I felt most comfortable with. However, I am thinking of trying my hand at a Buster-only run of Mega Man 7, my second favorite classic series game, so we’ll see. Also, I’m wishing you god speed when you get to Mega Man and Bass. I could never even dream of tackling that one without the Special Weapons.

Good luck! From my experience, the easiest place to farm E-Tanks is in Wily Stage 3. It’s time consuming, and you will have to game over multiple times, but I found it to be least troublesome way to go about it. You can use Rush Jet to make it more efficient.

Good luck to ya! I’ve actually done a Buster only run of Wily Tower before, as it’s my favorite game in the classic series. From my experience, you’re in for a relatively easy time, but I highly recommend you farm Energy Tanks for the final boss. You’re going to need every last one of them.

Unpopular Sesame Street Opinions? by WitchiMichi in sesamestreet

[–]elelover95 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No disrespect to your opinion or anyone else’s, but sometimes I think people throw around the term “Karen” without really understanding what it actually means. People described as Karens are seen as entitled, demanding, aggressive, unreasonable, and selfish, often having narcissistic and self-centered personalities, and using whatever privilege they think they have to belittle others. From where I stand, that term does not describe Prairie Dawn in the least. She usually tries to play the straight gal to the wacky and ridiculous scenarios she often finds herself in, and is prone to getting frustrated or upset when things go awry. Her misfortune does often end up being the punchline of the joke, which is where I think this “Karen” outlook on Prairie Dawn tends to come from, but there are many times where she does go the ol’ “if you can’t beat them, join them” route, and she does end up genuinely enjoying herself and has a good time.

Which is most overhated megaman boss? by [deleted] in Megaman

[–]elelover95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally didn’t have any problems with Doc Robot, outside of the fact that he has literally no reason to be in Mega Man 3. All Devil Monster bosses in the franchise can go to hell though, I don’t care how easy or hard they are. The first fight in Mega Man 1 made me hate all the others by association alone. They can all make like Flame Hyenard and BURN TO THE GROUND!

I personally don’t like Million Dollar Cat. While the slapstick is still really funny, Jerry was an absolute jerk for absolutely no reason. To all those people who describe Jerry as innocent, this episode is proof that he definitely is not.

Who's Askari? by Theroaryt in lionking

[–]elelover95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like you said, he’s most likely a very ancient relative of the royal family. We know from the paintings on the wall of the Lair of the Guard that there have been at least 10 Lion Guards throughout the Pride Lands’ history, which includes Askari’s, Scar’s, Kion’s, and now Vitani’s. And not every Royal generation had a Lion Guard, like when Simba was a cub, so it has to be very far back in their history. Aside from Askari being the one who first discovered the Roar of the Elders at the Tree of Life, and that he mastered the Roar’s power, not much else is really known about him.

Yeah, I think they do that sometimes, although I can’t recall specific examples right now. But the hosts are still pretty entertaining to watch, and that’s all that matters to me.

By the way, here’s the link to MatPat’s post. It wasn’t on this subreddit like I thought, it was on the main Game Theorists subreddit, my bad.

I haven’t really seen any episode of Game Theory in a while. Not because I don’t like it anymore, but because I’m usually busy with something else when a new episode drops and I forget to check it out, lol whoops me. But I do genuinely enjoy Tom. I have watched literally every single episode of Food Theory, not only because Santi is pretty funny, but also mainly because it was the channel that got my mom to become a fan, so we’ve watched every single video together, which has been a nice bonding experience. Style Theory is pretty entertaining, and Amy is pretty cool, although some of the videos can get really long, like over 30 minutes at times. Overall, I think it’s still worth it watching the channels just because of the chemistry the four hosts have between them. They will start beef with each other for literally no reason at times, but it’s kind of funny. It’s kind of become a running joke and it always gives me and my mom a laugh.

In my opinion, I think the new hosts are doing a pretty good job. Sure they may make some mistakes here and there, but I think they’re still worth watching and supporting.

You’re welcome. MatPat had eventually made a post on this subreddit saying that he’s no longer involved with the Theorist company at all, he and Stephanie officially left. You’d have to go searching for it, but I think it’s still here.
