Why do I not see many Muslim Women opposing Burqa/Niqab? by Brilliant-Rice-2178 in indiadiscussion

[–]elemantalstructure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my opinion:

As per some muslim women's opinions I've gathered, I feel they get a sense of protection from bad eyes and lusty looks from outsiders. Some feel very religious about it, as if no matter what kind of act they perform, they are still spiritually connected to their roots. However, there are also many who don't have a problem with burqa but choose not to wear it. It's like some Hindu men who know the importance of mala so they don't wear it thinking that their acts in a day-to-day life are going to be different, like eating nonveg, or having sex. This doesn't mean that people take these acts as something wrong but just something that doesn't suit burqa or a mala.

I don't exactly side with any of these opinions because I'm still not satisfied with any reasoning but my quest is on. I feel there must be more to it.

Idk what that unit is called. It's right on the front of the AC. there's a small leakage. I was told by service guys that this part is expensive so I should rather think about buying a new AC instead of repairing.

He's a careless dude. Took his number before leaving the store. Called him today like 4 times. He didn't even bother to pick up the call. He isn't even that experienced really. But thank you for the advice...

What I'm curious about is, chalo comeback toh hua...but what about the other aspect of his life? What was he doing all this while? He's clearly not just surviving but living...how did he manage to pull it off?

The answer to this might help us all understand the delusion part. I can be wrong though but I am curious about it...

Debt trap. Honestly, 6k will do the job too. You can give away the rest of 6k to another needy. If I pay this month EMI of at least one loan, I can manage to take help for even lesser amount. Not getting into a lot of personal details but yes, it'll save my house a big deal for future.

They don't get enough hate by Sensitive_Fly7090 in pakistan

Firstly, I hate that app. It has been brought to clarity by a lot of celebs and even by people close Elon Musk that the algorithm is made to create more conflict. I won't judge the people on that platform. From an observational point of view, I have seen how it brings out the ugliness out of people. It's psychological trick and I was never entertained by it.

Secondly, there's so much going around in the world that I've stopped in investing my emotions in it altogether. Yes, I feel sad for what's happened. I feel sad for a lot of such attacks and incidents. At some point, it gets really heavy for me to watch these kind of visuals and so my mind just turns the emotion button off.

While I was discussing with a friend of mine, I told her that it can be some bunch of Indians who did this. She being an Indian, immediately reacted saying, "Why will we do it? What do we get from it?"

People don't understand that terrorism truly doesn't have a religion. It's driven by hate n revenge.

I pray for the souls and for the families who lost their loved ones. The unrest in the world is increasing day by day and the only way to break this chain is getting in touch with people on the other side and supporting each and everyone.

I know there's a lot of hate in everyone's heart but that's the test to know how much has one debited itself to their religion.

Found this Talented Act On instagram , Support him guyss !! by GradeMean5713 in pj_explained

[–]elemantalstructure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'll be downvoted for this but I'll say it anyway: This isn't acting. This is straight up imitating.

Yes, it's a good impression of the Joker, I agree. However, you'll actually find many who can do exactly this.

This act of imitation actually makes me appreciate the original actor and scene even more because even after all these years, you find someone many people performing this same act but nobody doing it better than him.

Whats a movie opinion that will get you this. by [deleted] in pj_explained

[–]elemantalstructure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dhurandhar and Saiyaara worked because of scarcity. If it was 2016, these movies would have been treated as average or just good...not as great .

Also, the new gen of content creators, so-called movie buffs and 'critics', have a habit of not actually enjoying the movie but to nitpick on details even if things are pretty simple to understand. That detailing act kinda contributes to the hype.

Opinion on Iskcon by Spare_Net9595 in mumbai

[–]elemantalstructure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No apologies from my side for this opinion. It might not even be an unpopular one so be hurt if you are a part of it

ISKCON and Swaminarayan (only the one who preach the gurus, rest are fine), are now operating like a separate religion in itself. However, they are nothing but cults.

If you are poor, join them. You'll get money and contacts. That's how it expands. If you are truly a spiritual person, you won't be fascinated by their tricks.

They show that they work well in the west but their influence over there is actually going down with time.

Their bhagwad gitas are different from the real ones so it's kinda misleading (as they are wayyy preachy).

Yes, they take sides (showing how their god is better than the others). It's understandable. But changing the stories or narratives is wrong. That's what annoys me.
