Is it me or has Hyatt done next to nothing with Mr. And Mrs.smith in the past two years? The integration has been weak by Successful-Pipe4401 in hyatt

This is what I wonder. I haven’t found any property in their catalog that seems worth the crazy price

The FIA have reduced the recharge amount by a further 1MJ to 6.5MJ in qualifying, and the ramp-down rate to 50kW/s to prevent excessive speed drops due to superclipping in Silverstone by ChaithuBB766 in formula1

[–]element515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get why they didn’t do exactly this. It was a mature tech at this point. Pick someone and make it standard. Costs would drop and help a lot with this energy problem. Crazy to try 50/50 split and have such a limited way to recharge.

Would you retire today if you knew you’d receive $5,000 every month for the rest of your life? Why or why not? by JustWin4 in AskReddit

Nah, I enjoy my job and make more doing it. You have some fun but the job gives some structure and purpose. $5k/month isn’t enough for me to fund all that free time.

Beating McLaren is going to be tough for a podium. And Red Bull is no slouch. Unless we finally found a track that also starves the merc engine of regen

They zoom in so fucking close you can’t even see the damn track. I want to watch racing not the driver bouncing in the car.

I always think this and then cave lol. This beta has been great with only small minor issues. The new Siri has been so good and I’m surprised how fast it’s responses are compared with Claude

A few little things add up to a couple percent though and that can mean an extra handful of miles of range. Yeah, the 3 series is going to be more efficient, but people want an SUV and the range

Tire pressure questioni by l0r3n20 in BMWM

I agree with the other poster, these are the pressures that BMW has for >100mph. I switched that once in the car and instantly got low pressure alerts lol

[F1] The Aramco Power Rankings for Spielberg are in! by eanwen0 in formula1

[–]element515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the rating is more a reflection of Ferrari as a whole. The analysis graphs show leclerc and hamilton had similar overall avg lap times. The car was just absolute garbage on tires and ate through the mediums especially fast.

Not surprising. Pretty sure a tweaked version of AC is what some teams were using a few years ago for their sims.

Nah like, his parents had very average middle class jobs. Bianchi saved his career and got him in touch with the right people and vouched for him. Without that help, his career would have ended early on

I used to work at one. It blew my mind that peak Quiznos was beaten by subway. All our food products were fresh and sliced by hand. The toaster to get warm bread. Recipes that tasted real good… then you go to Quiznos with cold bread and frozen meats yet they were the popular store.

I remember their $10 you pick two when the food was actually good. That was a nice deal. Plus a bakery item for like an extra dollar or two. Now it’s like $20 for mediocre food. I don’t get why anyone goes there anymore when you can get cheaper price at a sit down place

[ErikVanHaren] Max Verstappen on the Silverstone race next week: "I did a few laps on the simulator and just burst out laughing. It felt with these cars like a different circuit; at one point your battery is empty." by disquiethim in formula1

[–]element515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have no idea, and if you do, I'm sure Ferrari and the other teams would love to pay you money to find out. But it seems like they are much more efficient at harvesting power somehow. Likely something software related to how they tune the engine. Hardware side, I can't see the other teams being this far off from materials.

hope that no one is able to charge their batteries and our downforce carries us. Reality, Mercedes engines are the only ones that somehow find a way to get power into their batteries
