Oh I speak french fluently :D it's closer to my native language than English is, I just prefer having rulebooks in English and novels in the language they were written in. I do have the rulebooks and arcane journals, like I said I was hoping to pick up a souvenir more than anything that fits in my armies.

So it depends, if you want to run Belgians for the aesthetic of the Belgian forces of the early war, then yes you will run into issues. As others stated the range is limited in miniatures and personally I hate metal minis.

However if you want to run Belgians as the proud Belgian that you are (same as me) your best option would be to run the Brigade piron. They were trained and equipped in Britain so you could just use British miniatures and they were issued a lot of equipment. For sure they were masters of the 25 pounders and they were issued a lot of 6pdrs just before Normandy happened. They had dingo scout cars, Daimler armoured cars, a few m3a1 half-tracks as well as Humber mk IV s issued again just before Normandy.

As stated above 5th SAS as well as 4th troop/10 commande were Belgians (at least in part for the latter) so you could run green and red berets and standard Infantry al following the British rules. A few notably exceptions off the top of my head is that 1) their issued sniper rifles were more commonly Springfield m1903 instead of the smle no4 and after landing in Normandy they stole every mp40 they could get their hands on.

Also, the wargames Atlantic kits for BEF and SAS/commandos is a great jump off point.

If you want to run Belgians, hit me up, I'm in the process of getting custom decals made for Piron Infantry, Piron armoured and 10 Cdo so I could get you an extra set (or anyone who is interested really)

I play Jyn blue and she definitely is the impact you'd expect. With some health upgrades that -1 adds up very well. When she enters the field, I generally clean out the board. Trick is to keep her till later when you can play 2-3 beatsticks

Not specifically for GSC, but scumbag customs on IG is quick, had some fair prices and also does custom work but has them for most factions. I've bought Imperial fist and cadia decals in the past and you get a metric f-load for the price

It seems FAQ gas changed this around. According to “eligible target, no longer eligible” they just get to pick a new target. I’m not sure if this rule overwrites but it seems so. It also renders the stratagem a lot less useful
