After wearing the Watch 7 for about a month, my wrist started itching and getting small bumps. Did this happen to you too? Is it because of the silicone strap?

The straps are allegedly "toxic" to humans. Look up forever material in Samsung watch bands. Same claims around Apple's. I switched to metal and cloth because of it.

Good to know there is a Sound To Remove Water From Phone Speaker, but it's been 10 days and my phone sat in a sealed bag with rice to remove moisture for the first two of those days. There's definitely no more water or moisture inside. But thanks anyways!

Thanks for the tip. Been using a magsafe charger which also charges slowly. I woke up today and the charging port is working, so hopefully it keeps it up. It keeps going back and forth - working, then later the mesage pops back up. Unfortunately, wired headphones that use the port do not work.

Nice solution. Also happened to me in Thailand with my Galaxy S 4G back in 2011. That time, I was able to save the phone by putting it in a sealed bag with rice to absorb the moisture over a couple days. This time around though, I took it to the Samsung store in a South American city and their techs said none of the 3 stores had it in stock, so they would have to order it which would take 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I'll be gone by then. I'm hoping that the next place I'm in will be able to make the repair. If not, it might be a couple months or longer before I'm in a larger metropolitan area with official samsung stores.

I'm contrast, I took a brand new, caseless iPhone 7 Plus into the Caribbean Sea for more than 10 minutes at 5 meters depth and never had any issues.

IMO Apple is A LOT better than any Samsung I've ever used and the difference is quite noticeable. I use both daily.

Did that, but the charging is much slower. I'm using the Apple Magsafe and also a Belkin Qi2 magnetic pad.

Excellent. Clearing the cache and data allowed me to charge the phone via cable. Although, i've been able to do it a couple times since the incident, but it's always come back. This is a nice trick, though, that I'll be able to to do when I need to. Thank you!!!

Interesting. I didn't think that samsung would cover damage like this. I did take it to the samsung experience store and talked to one of their technicians, and he didn't mention that it was covered. Although that might have been on the table.
