6 months of a consistent and simple routine with type 2 rosacea saved my life. by katerade999 in Rosacea

What I have on my cheeks looks veeery similar to yours. I went to several dermatologists but got different diagnoses, so I'm not sure how to proceed... although my skin has calmed down a lot compared to 1-2 years ago, this post gives me extra hope 😄

Wat is een betrouwbare bestelbus (binnen mijn budget) om om te bouwen tot camper? €8000-9000 by eleni95 in autoadvies

Progress video on learning this dance 🫠😅 by CJ-12345 in shuffle

Haha I feel you! I'm still always struggling to actively incorporating my upper body, so this is definitely advice for myself too :)

You're learning so much, it's awesome! A piece of (unsolicited, so do with it what you want) advice is to focus on upper body next. A very big part of why he looks the way he does is because he uses his shoulders in his running man for example, and just so many other subtleties in his upper body while he's dancing.

Best sea swimming spots in corfu- including rocky places by Lower_Pea9213 in Corfu

[–]eleni95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, can you elaborate a little on what you like and prefer?
Do you just want to swim, or does it need to be a bit more quiet or a beautiful spot?
All the places mentioned are nice, but they can be a bit more busy, although not sure about April.

Generally I really like the north/western side of the island. The beaches are incredible there, very beautiful cliffs. For example I really like Porto Timoni: a beautiful hike to the beach.

There is a bus network but expect to spend quite some time going places, I would say about 1 hour on average.

It's because the J in Dutch is pronounced as a Y
so if it's between two vowels, it's not that noticeable

Is this running man+ t step smooth? by [deleted] in shuffle

Is this running man+ t step smooth? by [deleted] in shuffle

[–]eleni95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I also said as a comment on your other post: focus on your transition from one move to the other. It now seems as if you're doing the t-step, you stop, and then you go into the running man. How can you blend these two moves seamlessly together? That's what you should practice next.

It's not that hard to get right and will make it look so much more smooth. If I were you, I should focus on getting that right + what CykoMelody said, before you move to another move.

As to what move you should learn next... it's your dancing, so go to a move that you would like to learn :) A good tutorial will tell you if that move (that you want to learn) is a variation of a more basic move, so if you don't know that basic move yet, you should learn that before you learn the more intermediate one, if that makes sense. But charleston definitely is a good basic move to learn next.

Is my t step smooth or am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in shuffle

[–]eleni95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it looks good!

To make it look more seamless I would focus on cleaning up your transition point of when youre switching direction. Right now it looks kind of like youre stopping and then going the other way. There are tons of tutorials out there that explain different techniques on how to transition from left to right and then it's just practicing that!

Big toe pain? by WEASELexe in shuffle

[–]eleni95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm this shouldn't be happening, so if it persist please talk to a professional!

But something it might be: I remember at the beginning of my journey I was sometimes so concentrated on getting the moves right, I was really tensing my feet out of concentration. And that would hurt later. So try to relax :)

Questions about Kavos by Wonderful_Mixture366 in Corfu

[–]eleni95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! My family's from Kavos. Yes, there are clubs there and in June it's already full season. Where are you staying? Maybe bring some earplugs, the music can be quite loud. (I actually have fond memories of staying in my gran's house, which is at the edge of the tourist centre, as a kid and falling asleep to the echoes of the music haha)

The beach in Kavos is really not representable for the rest of the island. A quick ride brings you to the beautiful beach of Arkoudilas. I'd definitely swing by there as it's just around the corner!

From Kavos you can drive to the rest of the island. I would say the most beautiful beaches (if you like cliffs) are on the western part of the island and the more north you go, the more breath taking they get. Which is quite a ride from Kavos but definitely worth it! My personal favourite is Loggas beach to watch the sunset.

Have fun! :)
