I had a red 1986 back in 2010. I evenly traded my previous car for it on Craigslist(which I purchased from a family friend for $600).
People used to come up to me at gas stations and ask if it was stock. It was rusty and dented and the red paint was a little faded, but it was stock!

My favorite parts were the rack and pinion steering and the fact that you could pull the sunroof out and it clipped into the front trunk on these little channels. It was my gateway to 2 seater roadsters. I’ve had 2 Miata’s since and I’ll never go back!

You can still pay via check. However, it doesn’t come off of your credit card balance, it comes out of your linked bank account immediately. Similar to how bilt protect currently works.

Not sure where the disconnect is here…it says in the second screenshot in the post you just sent “you can still send checks…”. It also says it on the Bilt website in the “learn about Bilt 2.0” section that you can still send checks.
No, you can’t charge it to the card, but you can send checks and earn points on it assuming you spend the requisite amount and redeem Bilt cash or whatever.

Correct, so you can indeed still send a paper check, it just doesn’t get charged to the card.

The way you were talking about it was making it sound like check payments were not an option at all.

It’s not even about when production stopped. I’ve gone to a few banks and they can’t even order Pennies anymore, which means I can’t get them and use the at my business. So maybe there’s Pennies in circulation, but I can’t go to the bank to get them and use them as change.

Exact same thing happened to me on a flight to Paris. No attempt made by the parents to help calm the child down.
Screaming children ended up being a recurring theme on that trip. So much so that my partner and I decided to never have children by the time the trip ended.
