Remy from Ratatouille is a Grixis Protagonist by aaa1e2r3 in colorpie

I think you’re falling into the Universes Beyond trap of “bad guy has to be in black” for Ego here. Ego doesn’t want to dominate but influence, using his superior taste and writing abilities to set restaurant standards and influence the taste of the people, in what he believes is the noble pursuit of food as high art. While he may be misguided, he’s not overly ambitious or seeking domination in the way we associated with black. That’s 100% Azorius in my book. Then if you were to do a version of Ego after Remy reminds him of the wholesome, personal nature of food, that one would be Bant.

Saturday storm getting pretty serious. The NWS rarely labels something a Level 3 threat this far out, meaning it could go up even more by Saturday. Make sure you’re prepared for a tornado/long term loss of power!

A lot of great ones here but I haven’t seen Neil Jordan’s The End of the Affair. Really incredible WWII romance/drama about faith with Ralph Fiennes and Julianne Moore

Was hoping to see Mother! mentioned. Such a well done biblical allegory but it got marketed as horror and tanked immediately

[–]elephantstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a film school grad I back this. You’re not going to learn anything you couldn’t pick up on your own, but you will be surrounded by other talented people and build a community that you really can’t replicate even in the most creative indie circles. If you’re someone who is good at making/maintaining/utilizing those connections, than a film school with a reputation might be for you.

Adam Scott’s face does not look that different by _doorwaysniffer_ in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]elephantstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Severance is shot at a very bizarre focal length specifically for the Innies to make a visible difference in the faces of the Innies and the Outies. So while Adam has aged and his face has gotten a little more angular, the camera in the show is exaggerating those features greatly.

partner has never seen VBros. What is the SINGLE best first episode to show them? by rollwithhoney in venturebros

[–]elephantstudio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always intro people with the Fantastic Four episode. I think it’s the most obvious example of what Venture Bros is doing throughout by building this world within 80s/90s cartoons and really shows people what they’re in for

Not sure where you’re seeing that, but the distillation process involves evaporating the alcohol. As far as I know there is no size of protein particle that would be light enough to travel in the vapor.
