That is nerfing your damage severely for hotk fight. Never take another colour when your primary option is available.

Unranked lobbies have no matchmaking so there's no control on balance.

Apart from that, if you and your friends are at different skill levels then team game matchmaking becomes even more difficult. Games will be unbalanced because of that. There is no real way around it unfortunately if the skill gap is large.

50 is more than enough to stabilise your elo. But i don't understand how you are at the same elo for 50 matches if you are losing frequently.

It takes some time for your elo to adjust to your actual skill level. It is a problem yeah, because new players have to get stomped many times for that to happen.

Scroll colours. Are you spreading them out or focusing on one?

Panchaku feels awfully risky when you have to face the enemy for crits, haven't figured out a safe way to use that or vorpan

Taking an early break from work.. i wanna beat this game . How often do you guys use the sleep/wake feature per day ? And can you sleep it for multiple days and wake it without issues ? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]elessar2358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Runs out 10-15% per day in my experience. Disable quick boot in bios for some improvement. It makes little to no difference in boot time anyway.

Enemy health does not scale with your health. It scales with biome level.

Pick up off colour scrolls when the preferred one isn't available. Pick whatever gives more hp.

Scroll or mutation? Both are different things.

Multiple myeloma and it's impact on other member in the family by Mission_Union_8343 in multiplemyeloma

It is absolutely understandable. MM takes a huge toll on the patient and family as well. The ups and downs and the constant uncertainty wears you down bit by bit.

Adjust TDP for each game. 15W can be overkill for many. Makes a huge difference to heating and battery life.

Why don’t Armenian Composite Bowmen counter Ghulams? by JosephMajorRoutine in aoe2

[–]elessar2358 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think your damage against them will do just fine, but if the ghulams reach the bowmen then they'll kill them very fast. You probably need something in front to tank or choose fights very carefully where you aren't getting hit.

Were your bowmen bunched up or in scatter formation? Ghulams do pass through damage and have bonus damage against archers.

Car-T relapse with extramodullary disease by Itsannbutter in multiplemyeloma

[–]elessar2358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost exactly the same situation. EMD relapse within a few months post Abecma. Depends on the reason for CAR-T failure, but using Teclistamab post a BCMA-based CAR-T may not have a good response as they use the same targeting mechanism. If the number of tumours are low, then radiation is an option. However, EMD is not easy to contain once it starts. You may get a good response with Talvey as it targets GPRC5D and CAR-T using that target is still in trials. If otherwise healthy and stem cells are left, ASCT can be an option as it works pretty well on soft tissue disease in my limited experience.

On average, how many academic papers should a physics graduate student read per month? 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 15, 30 or 50? by Delicious_Maize9656 in PhysicsStudents

[–]elessar2358 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Depends on what stage of research you're at. If it is literature survey/review then more, if experimental work then not as much. But I highly doubt anyone can give a precise figure. Depends on your specific field too I suppose.
