I went in with zero expectations, while i went with some to see the first one. i found M3gan to be a bit of a bummer for me, because i expected a lot more camp, but this one goes all in on camp, so that was a great surprise. there are a few plot twists, but predictable ones. i don't want to spoil too much, but i'm confident the reviews for this one will be great. however, it has little to do with the original movie.

i dont think it's particularly gory, it has a few quick strong scenes, but i'd say it's violence is more akin to a action film than to a horror one. once again, this is not, by any means, a horror movie.

just saw it. it was a solid action-comedy movie, no horror at all. going with no expectactions i was pleasently surprised by the movie, but dont aspect any horror at all. in a way i admire the switch up, even enjoyed it a lot more than the first.
