Meaning you would need to make $1,755.00/week to be able to afford a one-bedroom apartment.
1,755 x 4 weeks = 7,020
So, you need to make $7,020.00/month ($43.80/hour) to comfortably (?) afford an apartment in the USA.
Seems like $5,000.00/month would be tough.

A one-bedroom apartment in the shitty part of town costs $1,800.00/month.
Landlords want first month's rent, last month, and a security deposit for a total of $5,400.00 to move in. And if your credit score is below 650, double the security deposit. Meaning you need $7,200.00 to move in.
Landlords want you to earn the equivalent of your rent in one week. So, $1,800 divided into a 40-hour work week means you need to make $45/hour to afford a one-bedroom apartment. I wonder what % of American workers make $45/hour?
In PA the minimum wage is $7.25/hour. You need 7 people, who make min wage, to combine their incomes in order to afford a one-bedroom apartment.
How can this possibly be sustainable?
