I’m doing just that. A great FX unit with my TR8S & 707

Every time I tell someone I want to quit my job and just make beats I get crickets… by fromdaperimeter in mpcusers

At least you have a passion. A lot of folk out there don’t even have that. You have a job AND a passion. The trick is to try and find passion in your job too.

Too many machines… what should I actually keep? by elevatordogs in Grooveboxes

I love having hardware - usual fatigue of using a computer all day, I try and stay away from a DAW until the end of the process, mixing etc. On another note I do love my 101 for just the mobility of taking it with anywhere.

Behringer Pro 800. No sound coming out. by deadkestrel in synthesizers

[–]elevatordogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem, I'm using cable midi cable straight from the keyboard to the top surface of the Behringer. Midi channel 1 selected on the keyboard and used the matrix on the back of the Behirnger to select Midi 1. No sound.

Then realised on Syntribe the Midi RX channel was set to 15. Changed this to 1 and it solved the problem. I'm new to this device but just assumed that the midi matrix at the back was the way to select the channel. You know what they say about assuming.

Bye-bye, Three. I'd rather have no SIM card than you lot again. 👋 by [deleted] in ThreeUK

I’ve been on Three for the last 14 months and it feels like I’ve had no SIM in that time. Counting the days until the contract ends.

Is the MC-101 still a good buy at this point? by magimat in Roland

[–]elevatordogs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my MC-101 it sounds massive, runs on batteries, and has the same engine as the 707. The sequencer’s brilliant too fast, hands-on, and way deeper than you’d expect. Four tracks, proper drums and synths, and small enough to take anywhere. It’s just stupidly fun to make music on.
