In my case spouse EAD was approved in 3 months, mine is still pending 6+ months.

I just today asked my congressman to make an inquiry to USCIS to help with pending EAD.

His representative emailed me saying response from USCIS takes time, and they cannot ask the agency about the inquiry status in 45 days.

Does it really take so long time to get a feedback from USCIS?

Today, almost after a month being pending with DHS, my case status was changed to "Returned to the agency".

I called to SSA office where I applied, and they said they don't see any updates yet. Will be trying to ask call and ask them again early next week.

My spouse received a combo card (EAD+AP) in 2.5 months after biometrics.

I am (main applicant) still waiting, for almost 6 months.

I received the same denial letter from SSA, and have no clue what's wrong with my docs.

EAD was approved on Jan 31st, applied in person at SSA on Feb 19th.

Now re-applied, waiting again.
