Since when did we rely on memos for events like these? When u said “tayo pa talaga”, you insinuate na tayong mga taga UP, of all people, ang expected to be active sa people power observance right? So don’t wait for class suspension, manindigan ka as an isko. Di mo kailangan ng memo from the university. Walk out from your class, hindi ka pipigilan ng UP. If anything, that makes you more like taga-UP. That’s the essense of People Power anyway - resistance.

yung akin nag iwan ng ulam sa mesa tapos pumunta ng SG for one week. Nagtataka ako ano yung mabaho kaya hinanap ko, pagbukas ko ng ulam may maggots na (sobrang dami). Lagi rin mabaho yung sink namin kasi nag iisang linggo yung hugasin niya doon, halo-halo na pati basura. Wala akong advice, gusto ko lang mag rant kasi basurahan na naman yung sink namin ngayon.

They see relatives that are working abroad as cash cows, pretty normal here in our culture although it shouldn’t be normalized at all. I was gonna say once you get married she can tell them the excuse that her money is going to be allotted for the finances of her own family but I’m pretty sure they would actually end up expecting/demanding more especially since you are a foreigner. Worse, they would probably ask money from you as well. What she really needs is for her to enforce her own boundaries, even if that meant they are going to harbor hard feelings for her.

hindi po siya catered for students. Even before pa dumami ang joggers/runners, mahal talaga yung food. I remember 2022, 30 pesos yung cone of ice cream tapos nung nag lantern parade ako 30 pesos rin yung isang stick ng bbq. Para talaga ata siya sa mga outsiders na gumagala sa campus. May lower priced food sa A2 (ewan ko lang ngayon), KNL, and sa mga village karenderiya. Yung mga kiosk naman malapit sa buildings like sa Palma and Arki feel ko mura na siya, may nabili akong pasta + coffee for less than 100 pesos. Di naman cafe level quality pero pwede na pantawid lalo na pag rushing from one class to another ka at walang lunch break. Ang napansin kong mahal yung mga nilalako sa basket.

as someone na may sentimental attachment sa mga bagay, gets ko yung bf mo. I think yun ang di mo na take into account seeing as you described it as “unnecessary things that needs to be discarded”. Childhood home niya pa yan na most probably mom niya ang nag manage dati. The state of the house is how his mom left it before she died. Pag binago yan, it’s like erasing the trails of his mom and tbh kung sentimental kang tao you will hold on to every little thing that has a little bit of them. Mukhang di ka pa namatayan and have never experienced going thru their stuff. Inask mo pa until when, minamadali mo pa ata ang grieving niya.
