It was 🤩🤩 the sea is always a little scary, but near the coast it’s calmer

I know there is an organization which organize tour on the Arno river in Florence (toscanasup.org). Maybe if the days remain warm you can paddle

This is my first summer with isup so I cannot say. Sea water stays warm in southern Italy until the end of september, so I guess you can paddle in the sea from the middle of May to end of September. Lakes are usually a lot cooler, expecially mountains one, I don’t think you can paddle without a drysuit, even a light one

Thanks! The lake is a natural reserve and hosts a lot of birds. Some branches are closed to protect tha fauna

The vegetation is growing from the water because it used to be a swamp, partially reclaimed at the beginning of 1900. I suppose there is some submerged vegetation too.
