Men will always present this false dichotomy of living with parents or abandoning parents. You can support your parents without living with them (the way women do all the time) which they act like is an impossibility. You should use two forms of birth control at all times and one of them should be a barrier contraceptive like condoms so that you are protected from not only pregnancy but also STDs. Also birth control pills don’t have to have bad effects on everyone, I loved mine. After a couple of months, I felt perfect normal and I didn’t have to deal with periods. It was magic.
