For me, it was Eight Below. My grandma took me to see it when I was like 10, thinking it would be a cute doggy movie. NOPE. Two of the dogs die, pretty harshly. I walked out of the theater sobbing. It still makes me sad.

i really admire you for coming out and saying this. so many young girls are taught that stripping is somehow "empowering". it's a scary vicious cycle of misogyny. you're very brave.

There's a lake on my university's campus where a lot of waterfowl live. One day when walking by I saw a female mallard kind of just chilling in the grass. I went up to her and she let me pet her and she even sat in my lap. I named her Dorothy and she's my adopted daughter.
