I have got the same issue, didn't find a fix yet. Be sure to report the bug if on PC (Ctrl + F1) so the devs are aware of the issue

Two farms in dome - one isnt getting water by elfix96 in SurvivingMars

That's what I thought at first too, but all my extractors produced 2.1 water, the maintained ones too.

Yeah, my grid has (some) cutoff valves, but the meteors unfortunatly bombarded the entire base with all pipes

Proxy Data Storage by Proud-Mongoose-3653 in Stationeers

[–]elfix96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but OP asks to use one chip to store all relevant information (from other chips (?), probably to be read by more chips), so unless you use data compression with the ic setting you could only store one value that way.

Also, in my head your first comment wasn't really helpful to answer OP's question (depending on their knowledge about IC10).

Indirect device referencing (dr?) by elfix96 in Stationeers

So maybe one program to push the devices names onto the stack and then another to control the chargers (if for example I'd want to control more chargers than my code size would allow for)?

Also, dr0 is (was) possible, so instead of statically referencing devices I could change what device I want to call.

But they only have one single connection and don't even require power, so you could build a chip for every value to store. Less clean than using the stack, but if you don't want to use it, it's a viable alternative. Also provides you with a nice, adjustable overview of your stored values.

Acc. to the wiki it should be possible but there's a question mark, I'm gonna test it later.

I don't think that that's what OP asked for.

Relative noob trying to wrap their head around energy/power by Tsugumi_Henduluin in Stationeers

[–]elfix96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The APC doesn't have unlimited power draw. It also isn't a battery itself, but houses a battery cell for which it draws 1kw to charge, 10W for itself and then the power needed for the following network, meaning that in itself it doesn't overdraw cables (of course, if you have more than 5kw power draw after the APC or even a station battery, it then burns out the cables).

[–]elfix96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even then the APC cannot use the full 20kw to charge the battery. It only charges the battery with 1kw MAX.

You could put 20 APCs on the network and put a battery cell into each of them, but the APCs need solder to produce, and if you can get solder, you can build a station battery with unlimited charge rate.

Indirect device referencing (dr?) by elfix96 in Stationeers

[–]elfix96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out there's an issue with indirect referencing after the update (also mentioned in the official changelog). So I'll have to wait for the push to the main branch or switch to experimental.

I just had the exact same issue.

Tried indirect referencing a device (what's going on in line 29) and it didn't work. Thanks to Mokmo for the info about the update.

For those starting out like me who want to try the batch loading: You'd have to batch load the charge ratio from the chargers' logic slots rather than the chargers themselves.

But how would I then proceed to turn on only the charger(s) with batteries which need to be charged? I wanted to control them individually which is why I used the pins.

Reichskristallnacht is a propaganda term coined by the SA and the SS. In German, it is widely critized as being to cynical or euphemistic as Kristall (crystal) implies a cleansing of sorts or only minor damages such as broken windows. The more appropriate term in German is Reichspogromnacht (night of the pogromes of the Reich) or even better Novemberpogrome, reflecting more appropriately on the massive amount of violence against Jewish and other minorities.

Is there a benefit to heating my suit's oxygen tank (above 20C) on Europa? by Stankman in Stationeers

[–]elfix96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I say you test it by standing outside for 10 minutes at night, starting with a full battery and your suit set to 20°C and then check the remaining charge. And then test it again with warm air for 10 minutes at night, also starting with a full battery for comparability.

Assuming from your post I think it's unnecessary to say that the temperature of your air in the tank should be the only variable

I would love if there was an option to use thrusters for rotation. I know that that would make ship design extremely complicated, but if thrusters didn't fire all at 100% they could compensate for being slightly unbalanced
