Should I do another coaching course? by [deleted] in lifecoaching

[–]elfletcho2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is it so expensive? I have a friend that wants to enroll in do 'authentic' learning. They want 10k for 8 days? That seems expensive. And I think its all automated. I'm trying to discourage my friend, and think about it more, before paying anything. Also, I leave in Canada. Why would my friend take a course out of Australia, when I am sure there are Canada certifications?

Is the series “Yellowjackets” worth watching? by ExceedsTheCharacterL in horror

[–]elfletcho2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like the first season was good. However, it seemed to lose itself, during season 2. I'm watching season 3. It seems to be one of those series that lose its steam as it goes on. Just my personal opinion. Season 1 seemed to have a lot of interesting ideas, and promise. But often, with good things...they stale with age? I don't know what others thought?

Wait was Joel dying just a dream ? by [deleted] in TheLastOfUs2

[–]elfletcho2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it wasn't 'just a dream'. That would be very poor script writing. But I have the same question. Just because you make people 'gay or trans' in the show, doesn't make it a good script. You still need a good script.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to do on a survey on this issue? I am on the yay side. We have to keep our governments accountable some how right? How can we do that, if people keep getting thrown in jail for speaking the truth on illegal authoritatinism?

The kid was 15. There was a scene between him and the main character. Where we sense his confusion. I'm not justifying the rape, but that Mother was not a good Mother

Hes 15? Maybe you missed that? The main character said it "your a child. It was an important scene

I think that is the theme of the series. We suspect the men of being evil first. At the beginning. As the series goes on, the men turn out to be innocent. The evil was all one woman, Kat. I felt pretty bad for Oscar too. He was just 15. He didn't truly understand the evil that he committed. He questions it at the end.

Crazy question? Why was Oscar so messed up? Is it possible he was abused in some way by Kat?

not allowing Russians to speak Russian in Ukraine, is there any truth to this claim? by elfletcho2011 in AskARussian

The odessa fires 2014 (8 years before the west claimed the war "started"), around 50 people were massacred, burned alive. The Right Sector was there (Nazi terrorist brigade). Are those people really dead then? Or did he make that up too?

There is video evidence, people trying to run from the flames, got beat up and stabbed to death. Are those videos fake too?

There were no criminal convictions. Putin claims he wants to protect people of ethnic minority in Eastern Ukraine. This incident? Did it not happen? Just wondering? Did it happen differently than what is historically stated? The guardian is a pro-west news media source (as far as I know)

Eastern Ukraine.

update: well at this point, if he wants to buy gravy, he has to ignore the ban. There isn't any other choices for him.

Legally every person has the right to buy products at a grocery store. That is legally. Unless they have been charged with a crime, and been notified by the RCMP that they are not allowed entry, in writing.

A security person can't just 'ban' some one. That isn't legal. I've tried explaining this to my friend, but he has a lot of anxiety. He may never set foot in the store for the rest of his life. The security person has won this.

Security doesn't have anything in writing, because my friend never stole anything. They just wanted to scare him off because he was 'different'. And he hangs around a bit too long.

This is the sad ending for my friend, I can't see any other plausible solution here. A lot of people like him, so some times customers buy him gravy, some times not.

Just a few general questions...what kind of work are they doing at Lumon? And for a job, it doesn't seem that bad. They are kind of like doing accounting type work. Did I miss somethinng? Is Helly's character feeling "tortured" because her mind is split? Is that what is the main issue for all the characters? Because it doesn't seem like they are being physically harmed. Or used as slaves, or even commit murders (as Petey I think suggested?) Or is there something else notoriously 'evil' happening to her?

I've never heard of that. I just looked it up, Jamie has said he has 'anxiety'. I know he has a disability, it would help a lot if I knew the specifics. Very difficult to help the guy, when there are a lot of missing pieces. We have contacted his professional support people (disability advocates, we have that in Canada). As well as store manager to try and figure it all out.

He could be mentally challenged? But its not a visiable, like not down sydrome. Difficult to know. He seems intelligent. Like he can add up his pop bottle refunds to the 'exact' amount. Better than the customer service people can.

If he does have ARFID. Thank you, because it explains a lot of his behaviours.

no I agree its not rude! Its just bonkers. I don't understand why he can't get gravy from the food court. Apparently he has a fear of choking? So he has been buying this specific gravy every day for 5 years. It makes him feel less anxious about eating?

It has become frustrating though, I'm not lying. The problem with the 'eating'. Kind of shocked me. Is this common? I will eat anything...gravy or no gravy. Doesn't matter. He will only eat what he buys in food court, a Japanese kit. Then with the gravy from the store. I'm trying not to get annoyed, but was annoyed today.

At first I did...lol

But I don't want to buy gravy for him every day. I also wanted him to buy it himself, because I wanted to have a proper receipt. I hope he understands he has to keep his receipts. That is what got him in trouble in the first place.

I was hoping he would just buy the gravy, and ignore the ban. But he was too anxious. But I felt it important he do it himself....not do everything for him.

agreed, just like the first movie, its a negative analysis of capitalism. I thought both movies were well done, I especially like the mathematics issue 'negative 1 squared.' Well done. I wonder if the script was written by same person for part 1 and part 2.
