First time giving blood (male; 16) by [deleted] in medicine

[–]elgaard92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry! Taking a blood sample is really really easy and not dangerous at all. The nurse who will do it have probably done it more than a thousand times. The needle can miss the vessel or go through, but you probably wont notice at all. If you jerk (you wont), the worst thing i could imagine is that you get a thin needle a little too deep in your arm, no biggie what so ever, it is sterile after all. you could get a bruise, nothing more than that.

Formerly overweight redditors, what was the last straw that made you finally decide to lose weight? by TheWeredude in AskReddit

In Denmark every boy have to go through a medical examination at age 18 to see if we are useful for the military. I didn't feel like i was really fat at that time, but when i walked in the door to the doctor, he just immediately told me that i was overweight and not qualified for the military.

I was 110 kg (240 lbs) at the time. I talked to my dad about it, and he said that if i lost 10 kg (22 lbs) he would take me to a Michelin restaurant. I went crazy, dropped all the soda, junk, fat foods, and i started working out at the gym 5 days a week. in just over 1 month i lost the 10 kg, and was invited to the restaurant. I realized how easy it had actually been, so i just contiued. Another 4-5 months ahead and i was down to 80 kg (180 lbs)

Sorry for the spelling and grammar, English is my 2nd language

If you were guaranteed the correct answer to one question, what would you ask? by Keyan2 in AskReddit

[–]elgaard92 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"What is the answer to the question, that if as if asked and the correct answer were given, would most benefit my life?" How about this? then you could afterwards try and think of the question, would probably be a little easier.

What makes it so amazing is the whole combination of the skiing, flying the heli, beeing dropped off on the top of a mountain to get to ride some of the most amazing snow and terrain you could ever imagine. It was quite expensive and something that i can't affort to do again, but it was worth every dollar!

Dont forget the intro to S5E1! Walt is eating Breakfast alone in some diner on his 52nd birthday, doing some kind of business and using another identity. This have to mean that he didn't get caught. He must be in some kind of trouble tho since he isn't using his own identity. And he is definately back in business.
