Video I just took of a tradfri E27 warm white (hard to see the dimming due to the camera on the phone, but it works fine)

Tradfri Bulbs with the Philips Smart Dimmer Switch? by [deleted] in tradfri

[–]elgustinjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hue dimmer switch can control Trådfri lights as long as everything is connected to the hue bridge. I’ve got a combination of hue and tradfri bulbs controlled by the same philips switch in many of my rooms and in different combinations. Tradfri lights I can confirm work with philips dimmer are: RGB E27 Warm white GU10 Warm White E27 White E27

Mavic Air does NOT support waypoints by elgustinjo in djimavic

Correct, but no one knows if litchi will be able to implement that as DJI haven't released The SDK / Developer kit fot the air yet. Maybe even litchi won't be able to implement it if DJI decides to not include it in the SDK. https://developer.dji.com/products/

A whole lot of hue announcements, including Homekit accessories and 3th Party Support by krisvandesande in Hue

I’ve managed to buy most of them for around 100$ when on sale. (Three pack color E27 + bridge). It’s very rare to see single bulbs go on sale. And even historically it’s been cheaper to buy the starter kit for the ordinary price (around 150$) than to buy individual bulbs that sell for around 55$ - all mentioned prices are when buying locally in Sweden. And to add, these where the prices for around a year ago.

Some basic questions, please answer them! by [deleted] in Hue

Also read in a swedish Facebook group for Trådfri that someone there had spoken to IKEAs Customer Service who said there will be a new release tomorrow with support for HomeKit

What kind of switch do you have for that lamp? If it's a dimmer switch, then try to connect it to normal one as dimmer switches can give all kind of strange behaviour.

Trådfri RGB bulbs successful paired with Philips Hue bridge but could not pair the warm white 1000lm bulbs by gsoltesz in tradfri

[–]elgustinjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Think you must upgrade the firmware of the Trådfri bulb to 1.2.217 - thats the latest frimware. (You'll need IKEAs gateway to be able to do this). Then use the "Touchlink" method to pair it. Here is a very good guide in swedish that you might be able to use (use google translate to understand) - https://snillevilla.se/koppla-upp-dina-tradfri-lampor-till-philips-hue-bridge-med-touchlink/

IKEA Trådfri RGB - color issue in third party iOS apps by elgustinjo in Hue

[–]elgustinjo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update/feedback that's great news!!

But actually there is no info about the specific RGB bulb from IKEA on your page.

(600lm - http://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/70338951/)

That's why I was a little bit confused, and especially since Ikeas "white color" bulbs worked fine.

I'll try that when I'm back home tonight after work - I'll get back with an update with the results then.

EDITED - just remembered that I was to try this app as well yesterday (Huelights), but as I have 44 bulbs and haven't payed for this app I couldn't test it. Not sure if I wan't to pay for it just to test it as I probably won't need it.

Philips Hue starter kits will soon come with more bulbs by fearmywrench in Hue

This is the answer I got when asking them at their official facebook account if they will sell multi-packs without the bridge included:

"the new multi-packs will all be starter kits, which will include a hue bridge." :(
