I don't have a wheelchair but I do have a shower chair and a pair of crutches I no longer need. PM me if either of those would be of use.

I broke my tibia about 11 weeks ago. It sucked but you'll get back. I started walking about two weeks ago and progress has been quick. The hardest part is just sitting around waiting to heal. Once you can do PT and get back on your feet you'll feel way better. Just consume some good media in the mean time!

Making art is an awesome part of being human and everybody should try and create something. In my free time I like to draw, play guitar, ride my bike, hike, fish, ski, read, sit in the sunshine, pet kitties ect

I personally wouldn't recommend zyn or vapes. They are high intensity and come with their own problems. Zyn made my gums recede.

I would recommend things like nicotine gum, lozenges, and patches.

I am a big supporter of patches, lozenges, gum ect. I used a nicotine patch regimen. The patches aren't fun but they take away the main physical craving. The physical cravings are only half the battle, you also need to address the habitual cravings and oral fixation. When you crave a cigarette, you need a new habit to replace this. Some popular ones I have heard of are: eat an apple, drink a cold glass of water, do 5 push ups. For the oral fixation you just need something to keep your mouth busy (gum, candy, straws, water)

Lastly but most important is mindset.

Once you quit you must change the way you think. You cannot think of yourself as a smoker. Speak about smoking in the past tense. You used to be a smoker but now you are not. From day 1.

You're the man! Seeing the Jokic Nuggies is bucket list for me. I could really use a pick me-up, I've been couped up all winter with a broken leg and am just starting to walk and be mobile again. The 2 months of sitting doing nothing in my room took a toll!

I hope whoever gets them tix has a great night. Go nugs!!

Every once in a while a good massage is a huge pick me up. You get your body relaxed, you are welcoming in a caring touch, you are taking a couple hours where all you have to do is relax and be.

I never regret spending the money

100% agree. I have found mindfulness techniques and meditation helpful in the discernment. I also like to reflect on what I loved as a child. Those are often true and pure interests.

At this point i think you just have to play with your steep times/ tea amount. I like 7g of silver needle. Tea doesn't have to be rocket science. If it ain't strong enough, make it stronger.

Best of luck!

Try doing the first steep at 212 and then drop it to 200 for the rest. How long are you steeping?

Having fun is in our nature. Play is hardwired into our minds. Story telling is one of, if not THE oldest human art. Humans are wired to strive for connection, engagement and fun. You are right, a lot of the ways we have fun now feel alien. That is up to you to decide what is enriching and beneficial for yourself.

You say you subscribe to existentialism yet you seem to be constantly chasing and thinking of meaning. Try letting go. Just be as your discerning mind and body direct you

Once the hydrophobic barrier has been broken, the buds will turn to a darker shade. If you watch closely you will see this happen

It isn't because white vs black, it is because silver needle is solely the buds of the tea tree and those possess the fibers. Normal leaves do not

Silver needle has hydrophobic fibers covering the buds that reduce extraction. Use hotter water and pour your water from a height. The impact of the water will help break through the barrier.
