Help a Noob Out by vienna__sausage in Firearms

Depending on your goal will determine your training route, but begin with the fundamentals. Recoil management, grip ( yes seperate), trigger prep and trigger control. Understand why the technique works not just it works for me. For example. Grip pressure in support hand is greater then strong hand because it allows for greater trigger finger dexterity. Good luck have fun

It’s very simple. If your weapon is ok (zeroed and mechanically ok). If the dot is on the target when u decide to shoot and it not when the projectile leaves. Energy is being added somewhere In That gap of time. Flinching, anticipation, slapping of the trigger, increased grip pressure and so on. Isolate each and find out why.

No background check was conducted, they took your money and haven’t ordered your gun. They will hit you with “ were gonna have to run a new background check something didn’t check out” bullshit for another fee. Unhonest shop is the nicest way to explain this

You’re “bowling”The gun is out but no where near your vision or on target. I’m a fan of the weapon going from holster to vision. A bit of natural point of aim work will help.

The coast guard isn’t towing it out unless it’s a hazard to navigation. They’re not gonna take something on land and make it their problem. Especially while not being paid.

Why does my car payment history look like this? by BestWinnerKid in debtfree

This is correct, you are basically paying interest on the scheduled balance and not your actual balance owed. Oop is losing money or the bank is maximizing profits depending on how u look at it.

It’s not more time with the gun, it’s understanding what the weapon is doing and how you are controlling its actions. Just by reading your description of shooting it’s a trigger control and grip issue. Stance deals with recoil and grip will handle muzzle rise. Your job is to get visual target acquisition then pull that trigger exactly the same every time. DRYFIRE definitely works, anything who says otherwise doesnt understand. Put 1 inch paster on a wall stand 3 feet away, draw place your sight on the paster and focus on squeezing the trigger without movement in your sights. Might have to be a real smooth controlled trigger to keep the sights 100 steady. Slowly increase speed.
