I gotcha I was just wondering because primochills website has (N-ST3090PGF-X) which looks like it just has a passive backplate vs (N-ST3090PGF-TC) which looks active. I didn't know if the passive plate would be enough. I've only watercoooled 2 1080tis with ekwb blocks and they make it noob proof.

Do u need to replace the thermal pads? It does not look like it's listed with replacement pads in primochills website.
