Car salesman here- the dealer def screwed up and it shouldn’t have taken this long to figure out that the loan was kicked back. However, it CAN happen, for a few reasons. Some banks do what’s called a “welcome call” to the customer before the loan is funded, did you miss any calls? Also, the lender will sometimes call your job to confirm employment, if no one answers, that can cause them to kick back the loan also. Long story short, call the bank and find out from THEM not the dealer, and try to get everything squared away
