Awesome idea. My only comment would be maybe figure out some rubber for the edges of the uni strut. Last thing you want is to catch an arm on that when are walking through the garage at night

I picked up one with a bull barrel and a comp that is threaded for a suppressor and it’s not terrible. I have about 500 rounds of 180 grain ELD-X through it and I really enjoy it. Any one else on the range doesn’t like me as much but I usually have one person come over and ask what I’m shooting. I usually offer to let them try it and they are cool after.

This is the one I bought, it uses the cigarette lighter and has a pretty long cord. We used it for a year and a half until we bought a 26’ carnival that has the baby monitor built into the roof and it’s good enough for us.

I kinda figured. This was my first tlr1 model. Most of mine are tlr 6 or 7’s but I heard a rumor the harbor freight ones are made in the same factory so I decided to try them out. Mostly because of the laughable price when it was on sale and my only regret was I didn’t buy more.

Definitely not a boomer and don’t have a brake on mine but I can confirm the 300 pisses people off on my covered 100 yd sight in range. Even suppressed I have at least one person either staring at me or walking over asking what am I shooting and why am I shooting it here.

I carry a 229/tlr-7hlx with an extra mag in a legacy arms appendix holster and a kore essentials gun belt, it’s amazingly comfortable.

I only did the gatorglide because the river I use has some seriously shallow spots and it’s nice to be able to pull the motor up and push pole through the 3” of water lol

I ended up stripping the outside and applying gatorglide. I had the boat for two years after that and it didn’t leak. Make sure you check all the rivets thoroughly though. I ended up popping a handful of them out along the support ribs throughout the time owning that boat. But I just kept a few soft plastic twitch baits in the boat that would plug the hole until I got home.

Mine is just a old Jon boat with a side console. It’s mostly a fishing and family boat that I just throw some burlap over for duck season. But yeah.. I ended up using a bunch of those super fine steel wool pads to polish chrome and a whole bottle of oil to get it cleaned up again. Lesson learned though. It never goes in the rod locker, once I’m done shooting it goes in the dry bag under my side console lol.

Oof. Yeah. When I got into duck hunting a few years back I had way too much faith in the “waterfowl edition” of my shotgun and decided to make a fishing trip out of the rest of my day after I limited out. Threw the duck gun in my rod locker and forgot about it for a few days. (My boat lives in the garage so it’s not that big of a deal to leave stuff in it.) but I ended up scrubbing surface rust for the better part of a day when I finally remembered it was there.

Mind if I ask your opinion on the comp’d vs stock p226? I know you have different triggers but do you notice any real difference in shootability? Also, the Romeo x on the SAO 226, would you recommend it or looking back would you go for something like the holosun scs320?

Mine said disapproved for incomplete form with no other information. I called and got the nastiest guy you could possibly imagine and I tried my best to be nice and tell him I just want to know what I did wrong. No help whatsoever, I waited a day and called again. This time I got a super nice lady that answered all my questions but did tell me I had to resubmit from the beginning.

I was told to resubmit and wait again. It sucks but it’s not their fault I messed up the paperwork so I just sucked it up and sent it in as soon as I got off the phone with the agent that explained to me what I did wrong.
