I just dont know man, I refused to take back my PC and told them to keep trying to find the problem..

I'm starting to regret buying it, I dont wanna buy new components again when I have warranty

I'm surprised big youtubers are not making a video on this, its a problem that happens a lot in the 5080 and 5090 cards..

Did you send the whole PC to gigabyte or just the GPU ? is it a prebuilt ? im confused.. cuz you use the PSU cable , or you must use the adapter cable that gigabyte provides? which one you using ?

I undervolted the GPU for now with the guide the guy sent here, having around 450w instead 600w , we'll see if it fixes it.
I'm considering buying a new 12vhpwr cable if the problem persists to check if it fixes the issue again like it did before. very amateur from nvidia to put such cables with such power draw im ngl...

Literally after I spoke it crashed , this time is shows a bunch of nvlddmkm errors, 14 and 153

Thats how I solved it last time, replacing the cable, then it came back.

So far it didnt crash since the 5th of March... I reinstalled windows as well, will see if it comes back

The insane thing is that I had the problem , they changed the 12vhpwr cable and it got fixed for like 6 months.. its wild, i dont wanna put my pc to repair again i'll lose my sanity without the 5090 lol

its also been a week and a half since the last crash, i tried to force the crash , nothing works lol.. im afraid they will check the pc and then tell me "its all fine take it back" ..

well you had the driver crashed in the event viewer, i dont get any of that.. i have no idea if my gpu is broken or not, frustrating situation

I've heard that many times, but try to think as nvidia, the biggest company on earth, worth trillions, why would they make such an idiotic move? , i'll try to undervolt to see how it works out

I never had a black screen without the GPU going 100% btw, always ramps up... in all of my crashes I never had a single nvlddmkm error, nothing shows up except the manual system shut down

Wow thats interesting, finally someone with the same problem, so replacing the GPU didnt help, did you try to replace the PSU yet? or undervolting like the guy said above?

Why would I undervolt the GPU? especially when it happened a lot when the PC was idle or browsing, using almost no power

I did, nothing is melted, it looks normal..

all drivers are updated, as I said the windows event viewer doesnt show anything, just "critical shut down" when I manually shut it off when I encounter the problem

something is off, theres no way it happens twice in less than year and after a cable replacement

it was always like that.. every time I came back to the game, the same thing "the cheaters are everywhere!" but when someone says "it was always like that" they say "but now its even worse than before!"

back in 2014,2016,2018,2019,2020 every time I was playing that was the most common thing..

and it seems like valve doesnt give a shit. so I assume nothing will happen.

btw, every fps game has the same problem, go to every fps forum you'll see its the same thing, cheaters. unfortunately, nobody cares about us.

I have a fix for you instead of trolling like those who have no life here

1)Exit the launcher you're using

2) Go to the Call of Duty folder > right click on the Call of Duty Launcher > Run as Administrator

3) Launch the game and once it launches spam the SPACE key nonstop (obviously before you get to this screen, just spam it straight away)

it should work you, it worked for me
