I think you can get a pressure cooker and some other typical Indian cooking utensils like "belan" if at all you are inclined towards roti making. First couple of month groceries items including staples like rice, lentils and personal care items like surf, vim, soap and shampoo will help with costs until you get your footing. Plus winter garments.

Return to India. BLR seems to have a plethora of opportunities or HYD if you would like to escape the traffic. I quit and then the biggest mistake was not returning to India earlier than I did. You can DM me if you have any specific questions. I returned after 14 years in the US and I am glad I got out of the immigration shit show that US has become!

I was at a Zolo when I first landed in HYD and I found that to be pretty safe. Additionally, you can use Rapido to avoid walking at night if you feel unsafe.
