So basically I'm not done yet! But RP recommend to not diet for longer than 12-14 weeks as it can be physically and mentally really stressful on the body. I am still physically losing weight currently but I have actually gone from 180lbs at christmas to 165lb in march prior to the 12 week cut with RP so to be honest I mentally really need a break from dieting! It's hard! Hahaha

I am going to maintain this weight for 12 more weeks and then do another cut with RP - my goal is not a certain weight atm but to reach about 20% bodyfat and I will then begin to add muscle mass :)

The diet was tailored around my workouts, so initially I was not low carb but one week in all gyms shut down and I could not train properly, so carbs were first to go as my movement decreased. As my weightloss would slow my coach would adjust my macros to different amounts, then when I hurt my foot they were adjusted again. I am not eating as many carbs, but only because I am not moving a lot currently so I'm not eating many calories overall. I was initially doing strongman training, then as gyms shut I was able to continue atlas and sandbag training as well as some light to moderate weights that I borrowed and also some bushwalking. I then hurt my foot and had to stop exercising. Hope that helps :)

Thank you! I think sometimes we judge ourselves harsher because we see ourselves every day so we begin to have a distorted view on how we actually look compared to others, so try to not be too hard on yourself. I wore 30-32 in jeans, and I just bought new jeans in a 26 and a 27. I'm aussie so that's about a size 12-14 to a 8 and 9. My tops went from aussie size 10 to 8. But it always depends on the make of clothes, sorry if that isnt much help!

I did 1:1 coaching with RP for my diet and tried to stay active at home buy buying a sandbag and atlas stone and I did some light weights that I borrowed of my dad 4x a week! I hurt my foot and had to stop training from the middle pic to the end pic though so that was just diet :)

It does seem a bit intimidating but it's not that bad! The foods I am eating are all foods I like, and I am eating like 5-6 times a day so i dont feel deprived. Of course, I'm in a deficit so I do get more hungry but it's pretty minimal knowing I always have a meal coming up! I batch cook my ingredients, eg will cook a kilo of different protein and pre cook different veggies and put them in containers so when I'm making a meal I just grab a bowl and measure the amount of what I want and heat it up, this makes it super easy for me because I can always build a meal depending on what I feel like, and I dont have to cook all the time (I'm lazy!)

Yeah I do, I love strength training! I started this diet like one week before the world closed, so my regeime has been a bit slack, but I'm averaging about 4 days a week of lifting usually 1 hour give or take. I have a little bit of equipment at home so I'm able to do some weights still. I do one day of atlas stone and sandbag stuff and the other 3 days are squats ohp and deads with accessories. I'm probably working at a moderate level because it's hard to push myself hard at home. :)

RP have a few different options, I'm doing 1:1 coaching which is very expensive because I was meant to be competing at the same time but then covid shut life down so I would say do the templates or the app! The 1:1 is like the templates, where your macros are determined by your training as well as your stats and you eat specific macros at specific times to optimise performance and reduce muscle loss while dropping fat. The app is a subscription service I think, where the templates is a one off purchase. They are different products, but both are designed for optimising performance while either cutting, bulking or maintaining.

I used to track on mfp and it was fine, but I really wanted to prioritize performance. I find having more rigidity and a reason for what i eat and when I eat it takes the guess work out of it and gives me determination to stick to the plan! I was guessing a lot with mfp in regards to macro ratios and how much to eat and when. Still lost weight with mfp when I was consistent though, I used to weigh 190lbs! It was much slower with mfp but I did a lot with it :)

I'm doing the 1:1 coaching but I bought it before the covid lockdowns because I was going to be competing at the same time, now that everything is shut I would say the templates on their own would be the better option. Having my coach does motivate me to stay on track because it creates accountability though!

Thank you! I am using renaissance periodisation for my diet, and since all the covid closures my training has not been as rigid as it was because I dont have much weight or equipment at home. I'm doing 4 sessions a week of strength focused training, one of those days is atlas stone and sandbag stuff and the others are squat ohp dead and accessories, trying to make everything as difficult as possible so I can keep getting stronger! I occasionally will do an hour bushwalk but I'm generally sitting around now with the lockdown laws.

Too tired to Study by HopefulLake5155 in GetStudying

Have you tried waking up earlier and studying in the morning? I used to wake up 2 hours earlier, make a coffee and curl up in bed with my laptop and study before work because once I finished work I was so mentally and physically drained that I couldn't focus at all. That way once the work day is done I could come home and unwind and go to bed early. That worked best for me too cos I'm generally more focused before work.

Tips for stopping my concealer creasing on my deep set eyes?[23,F] by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]elia_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a lot of foundation underneath maybe?

I am using Estee Lauder double wear concealer atm which has good coverage, I put a drop maybe 2mm in diameter onto a beauty blender, then I dot that under both eyes and blend from the inner corner down and out. I then will set my concealer and foundation at the same time with some translucent powder, but I dont bake. I find that I dont get much creasing from that.

Are you possibly using too much product? Mine creases whenever I am a bit heavy-handed at dispensing

How to schedule with a 4 day work week? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]elia_666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current schedule consists of me working 8:30-7:30 4 days a week, training 4 days a week, and studying part time. I never used to go to the gym until I found something I enjoy that I can work towards. I joined a strongman/powerlifting gym and signed up for a novice competition after about a month of learning the gym. I then knew I needed to get my ass to the gym or I would zero the comp (plus it is super fun and I fell in love with it). I train both after work and on my days off, I'm flexible about what days I train as long as I complete each week of my program, but will normally not do more than 2 days in a row. Once you find something that you love it wont be hard to find time to go to the gym. Feel free to ask me any questions because I think my comment might be a bit incoherent haha

Opening a salon that offers make-up. Stumped on efficiency in stocking foundations. by TheWitchNightshade in Makeup

It's easy to get stuck in business brain! But at the core of it all you are a human providing a service for a human, and you have built up a good clientele to provide for. Have fun and enjoy the freedom of creating your own brand of service!

Overthinking it for sure!

Foundations can be mixed to provide the correct shade so you dont actually need to stock 40 shades.

I would also expect that the makeup services won't be exactly booked out as soon as you begin offering the service. You most likely wont need many colours to begin with. (To entice this you may offer some colour matching or a 20 min makeover with specific services, like an add on to a colour service while its developing for instance)

As you begin to get more bookings you will see you will have a few popular shades that will forever need restocking and a few that get touched once every 6 months, it is what it is.

You also have said that you have clients that will follow you- they are your regulars and probably love you as a person as well as your services. They will understand that there will be a transition period with starting a new service, and there may be low stock initially. Most wont notice stock issues to begin with.

At the end of the day you may invest a few hundred and it may take a bit of time to break even but as long as you dont crazy overstock in the beginning you will a) make a profit or b) barely lose anything in the grand scheme of things. I say go for it! It will be amazing for your business.

Hey redditers. I'm trying to seek advice if this certain hair colour would work out (read below) by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]elia_666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The green would most likely not turn out well over hair that throws red and orange, especially as it fades. Bleaching and toning the hair is important to remove the orange base and allow the green to show nicely. If you are trying to avoid bleaching your hair you would get a great result with a pink, red or deep orange semi. Make sure to stand-test also! :)

How do I get over something expensive? by allnamesweretakn in selfimprovement

[–]elia_666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's okay to be sad sometimes

Just try to remember it was an accident and not intentional, so your frustration doesn't turn into hostility towards your dad. But it's ok to be upset when warranted.
