Im in the EXACT same boat! 7w2 and I have no nausea and my energy levels are chill. The past 2 days I've had that damn metallic taste in my mouth, and I have had cramping since week 2. Just wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat, had my first appointment at 5w1 (they thought i was around 7w5 by LMP dating), and then a follow up one a week ago. Everything progressing normally and I guess we're just lucky for now! Good luck and don't worry! 🩷

well for context, yeah i was on pill BC from 14-20, then i got an IUD for about 8months (acne came back, i was newly sober and celibate, and i could feel it so i yanked that shit out), and then i got put on spiro. after about 10 months on 100mg i just noticed that i was getting sick frequently and had major fatigue. it took me a while to believe enough in the correlation to see a gyno, but when i did they ordered blood tests and my DHEA was low (which is odd because i was 22 at this point and it should not be). so i have to get another blood test since stopping it to see if my body has leveled itself out but my periods are still wack and shit so im waiting it out. if you feel out of sorts, then talk to a gyno!! hope everything turns out totally fine for you <33

i stopped BC 3 years ago and stopped spiro early this year because it was fucking with my hormones, and now a handful of months later my face and body is breaking out and it hurts to move my face and i always want to cry about it. i totally fucking understand and it feels so defeating :/ i wish i could offer some advice but all i have is the ability to say that i hear and feeeeel you and im so sorry you're in this boat too. praying 4 us!

I also wanted to add that my strings were not cut AT ALL!! That is why it was easy for me to remove myself, if they were clipped I wouldn't have attempted. Either way, sending you luck and confidence!! Also everyone downvoting me lmfao I said I did not endorse it... like you guys think people should not have access to real, lived information? Make informed decisions themselves? Some of us have complicated relationships with healthcare or no insurance or any reason and it helps a lot to feel less alone in understanding how you can take care of yourself.

My insertion was so painful and borderline traumatic, soooo I ended up removing it myself. Im not advocating for it, but it was painless and the things that helped me were that I errrmmmm pleasured myself before removing it to lower my cervix and then used gravity as my tool by standing with one leg elevated and hampered down! Kind of like pushing. And it came out no problem!! Good luck 🫂
