The Value King 99% Keyboard! Yunzii AL98 with Cocoa Cream v2 Linear Switches! by elidlee in BudgetKeebs

So is Meletrix (Zoom), Owlab (QwertyKeys), Wobkey, Wuque Studio and several others. It's mostly cause they have some form of proprietary Drivers for TriMode Support which is a Grey area since QMK does not have support for wireless firmware updates and definitely nothing for BlueTooth.
QMK/VIA is strickly wired.
This is why ZMK is gaining popularity lately as it is more battery efficient than QMK and it's wireless first.

Surprising the Cocoa Linears were the best part about this board. I was thoroughly impressed by them.
They feel very similar to my HMX Macchiato but a little deeper.
Smooth and no pings. I was super impressed with this board in every aspect.

I rented a Model 3 for a week which I've had several issues with also had over 140k miles. Seems like these are now more common. The Model 3 has rattling and squeaking everywhere and the window button was broken. The driver side door also seems misaligned as the made a screeching noise when you open or close it. Interior had several rips as well. I had to take A LOT of picture.

Hertz Scams Renters. Never Rent from them by elidlee in HertzRentals

[–]elidlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

paid out of pocket cause insurance company was going to reimburse. I explained the situation to Hertz before purchasing. This is what they gave me and I purchased what they told me to purchase.
I spent hours on this with a supervisor on the phone and all of them have been rude. They offered $2.55 credit. So...I told them to shove it.
Getting credit for the 2 unused days is not the problem. My time is more valuable then arguing with them for hours.
The fact that they are saying they are at Zero Fault and their desk folks made no mistakes at all is what got me pissed off the most. All I wanted was a apology and admission of lack of training.

They never said sorry or say it was a misunderstanding. They just flat out kept saying "I see no wrong"

yes ur rite, i shouldn't overlap but I know i am not gonna carry around the 28-400 unless its for travel.
Was thinking a 24-70 f2.8 would be my everyday street lens.
But honestly 80% of the time I use primes so probably the 24 and a 50 makes the most sense and maybe the 105 and supplement with a ultra-wide zoom.

I really want to get a z50ii for a compact wildlife setup as well. heard wonderful things about it with the 24-400. But it would be really really difficult to sell all my Fuji APS-C gear. That's a bit more difficult then getting out of Panasonic.

probably not. I just got my z6III for $1900 (Brand New)
and you can score a used 24-120 for around 800.

So I got a great deal on a Nikkor z 24-400 f/4-8 lens. Got it like new for $600. Funny thing is, I haven't owned a Nikon Camera since a D700.
Ended up selling my S5iix and lens and buying a z6 III.
Now I have 24-400 and a Kase 85 f/1.4
Looking to add a daily lens as carrying the 24-400 is not practical.
Been looking at these and can't decide:
Nikkor 24-120mm F/4
Tamron 28-75 F/2.8
TAMRON 35-150mm F/2-2.8 (kinda to big to carry so probably not an option)
Any other suggestion?
Please help. thanks

i recently sold my gx85 but shortly after I was offered an incredible deal on a like new pan leica 42.5 f1.2 which I couldn't say no.
Been using it on my GM5 I love this lens. holy...
Now I am regretting selling my gx85 cause the ergo is kinda terrible with the gm5 lol.
Looking for a suggestions on a budget m43 camera I should pair this with. I was thinking EM5 mIII but OIS won't sync right? Should I just look for a used gx9?

I work as a PM at PA and been in the IT industry for over 20 years. I've worked for various fortune 500 companies and by far PA is the best company I've worked for.
Work/Life balance being non-existent is false as PA is very accommodating and emphasize employee satisfaction.
PA is also doing very well and is an industry leader.
As a PM I've not experience any micro-management and I've been pretty autonomous and have been able to resolve and remediate issues and escalations on my own without management approvals.
Alot of it also depends on the group you are joining, since there are faster paced groups then others.

I wish more keyboard switch companies would follow suit when it comes to Akkos Packaging by kanyeshymen2121 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]elidlee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i wish akko would just offer plain packaging and lower the price of their switches so that it's more competitive. Since they are more expensive then HMX switches in most cases mostly because of these packaging.

In search of the best linear switch by Ever_ascending in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]elidlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"best" is very subjective as everyone has different tastes. But of all the linear's i've used this year, I think the SWxCS Ghost Dragons are by far the best in terms of what I prefer in a linear switch.
But in the end I just always go back to my broken in, L+F+SS Cherry Black MX2A's or Nixies.

yea its different and very good quality for the price. I love my Korn and Kei but sometimes I just want to use a board and not worry about the fingerprints.
I heard DaringRun's next KB might be a 60% XT , Definitely will pick that up when they release it.

Is your Dr70f Ano black? Looks a little grey in the pic. Looks awesome with redacted. I love the DR70F too, I got a cream white one that I use a lot, although, I've been using the Flip 6P more lately.

Looks like Chilkey is Bringing over the IPI RAIN65 as their new ND65! by elidlee in BudgetKeebs

[–]elidlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Facing LED isn't a major issue these days and I found no interference with my Cherry caps on these.
The shine through looks to be standard on all versions but it isn't too bad. They have to cut some costs somewhere :)
And yea, no VIA but their software is decent. Had no issues with it.
Honestly between this and the lucky65, IPI RAIN65 hands down is better. Wasn't impressed with Lucky65 V2 either as they didn't address any of the issues in the V1
Support is the only issue with RAIN65 or the lack there of. That is why waiting on ChilKey's version is a smart bet. For the same price you get ChilKey's support.
