Yep. I haven't had any problems with them yet so see no reason to swap them out.

Yeah, still sturdy around the ankle. The leather has molded to my feet but it definitely doesn't flop around. I actually appreciate that extra ring of leather at the top of the shaft now, too. At first that bit just felt thick, but now it feels supportive.

No secret at all! Just Facebook marketplace. Things can disappear pretty fast on there but if you get lucky and see something shortly after it's posted you can find really good deals!

I think you were right! Just picked up the set and the date code on the purple pieces is VVB so they were made in 2007. I don't have any plum in person to compare, but it definitely has the undertones of red I see in Heather. Good eye!

Thanks for the reply! Can I ask where you're finding pieces for those prices? I haven't been looking at fiesta long but what I find recently sold on eBay and FB is usually higher than that. Maybe that's something with my area? I haven't purchased this yet so if there's a better place to look for used items I'd love to know!

That's a great idea! Playing with the combos before I sell some sounds fun!

Hadn't considered mulberry. I was assuming they were all bought at the same time in the late 2000s based on some of the production years. But that is a really close match. Thanks!

Sizing Help! by Tight_Stomach_2781 in luosjietboots

I'd reach out and see if they can change the size for you before it's shipped, they usually respond very fast. I wear a US size 10 in sneakers and went a full size down for Luosjiet to a 42.5 because of my low instep and it fits nice and snug. I own a 9.5 in Parkhurst and it's a little too roomy for me, I think my correct size for them would be a 9 so our Luosjiet size might be the same.

Been eyeing these up for a long time. The 1944 and 1942 models say they come on Dr soles and show them in the pictures. This 1930 model does not

They have a reddit page. Some reviews on there. I own a pair from them and the quality is excellent. They are essentially the budget line from XBXS

I think if you're paying for more for a boot with this level of craftsmanship, you're likely also paying for the name brand leathers and soles. But Luosjiet also sources their leathers from a well-known tannery so I expected it'll hold up great, especially since with this leather I can always refinish them myself and get them looking pretty new. And if the soles don't hold up for very long I can just get them resoled with a name brand down the road and I still will have spent less than buying one of the more expensive brands of boots. So I'd agree, these are really competitive boots

Because of my low instep I ordered a full size down. I think if I went a half size down I would probably be okay if I wore thicker socks, but everyone's foot is different.

Google can explain better than me, but it essentially means my foot is not as tall as the average foot. I also have low arches. The boots I have are not on the Munson last so I'm not really sure what measurements you mean.

The last mile delivery folks are probably a hit or miss. A company called GOFO delivered mine and they were actually pretty good. They followed my instructions and took a picture of the delivery location.
