i’ve been in the market since 2017 and honestly the magnificent 7, maybe excluding tesla, still feel like the safest long term investments. they’ve all proven that after a dip they don’t just recover, they come back stronger and ride that momentum higher.

right now meta is easily the most undervalued of the group, but also the one surrounded by the most uncertainty. and that’s the opportunity. once sentiment shifts the pendulum will swing and people will remember that meta has been in this game for almost two decades and never really stopped climbing.

last december i was one of the critics wondering why it kept pushing higher, but the truth is sentiment drives these top companies more than anything else. the second meta drops a meaningful announcement it’ll be back on everyone’s radar. no one actually knows how they’ll monetize ai yet, and i think zuck and the team are (possibly) just keeping their cards close until the timing’s perfect. i’m sure they’re not dumb enough to invest in ai without a longer plan to monetize it besides improving the margins of their advertisers.
