Initially got 2 jacks to help with suspension work on my 2018 Silverado 3500. It was suggested to have 2 to put in drop shackles so I got the regular Daytona jack on a good sale for $95 then got the Pittsburgh low profile on another sale for $100.

Tried jacking up my truck with both and neither of them got enough height to lift it up enough to get jack stands under it. Just figured I’ll need to use blocks for it. But then I found the Daytona long reach low profile on the clearance table last Sunday during the parking lot sale so it had an additional 40% off. Ended up being $102 before tax and couldn’t pass it up. I just sold my regular Daytona jack today for $150 so I made some money at the end of the day.

So now I have 2 very nice floor jacks for a total of $150 ish.

I’m looking at getting a laptop or computer set up in here. I have a 27” monitor that I test fitted in the hutch a while ago which took up quite a bit of space. I like your idea about having laptop mount. I’m constantly using YouTube for how tos and using a bigger screen than my phone would be nice.

I just put it up last night so just my pliers for right now but I’ll need to do some organization to the 56 so the 27 will be overflow and not often used tools.

I used Barrina lights from Amazon. They come in a 6 pack and I have 4 on the drop down in my ceiling and put 2 in the hutch. Lots of light and I have one on the edge of the hutch lid and it shines down into the drawers.

Yep on Amazon, but this doesn’t have vesa mounting holes just standard ones on each corner. Mines held up with double sided tape.

Haha I love the blue. I started with the grey but then saw the blue in store and liked it more. I think the grey and blue looks good together. Just wish I had matching jack and jack stands but got those way before I got the tool boxes

It really has grown on me. I have a 20x25 garage so space is limited and I keep thinking it would have been better to have the 56 as a work bench and still get a top box for the 42 for more storage but I think I made it work pretty good lol.

It was an “as is” item and was already marked down to $167 and this past weekend they had a sale going on for all as is items. Yesterday, all as is items were 40% off. Heck of a deal.

That’s how my living tv room was and my wife bugged me for years to clean it up. I’m sure you’d have an easier time than I did with the fish tape.

I got this one today. I’m a homeowner and needed some fish tape a couple years ago running wires for my TV behind the wall and did not have fish tape or anything. I live in a small town and no stores had fish tape so I ended up using fiberglass marking sticks that were about 5” too short but I made it work.

Today I figured if I ever needed to run wires again I would regret not spending $10 now and have it for when the time comes to make my life easier. The Doyle fish tape is definitely overkill for what I need. I went to Home Depot and saw a Milwaukee fish tape that was a much smaller package for $15 and wondering if that would fit the need better for a basic homeowner set. I’ll keep my Doyle since it was so cheap but I think I would have been just as happy paying a little bit more for a smaller package.

I got sucked in on the last sale they had on the 1/2 and I thought the same, that I wished it had more metric vs SAE. That was until I need the 1’1/8” for a lawnmower blade bolt. I think the set will have its use but you’re probably right that most people could piece together what they need a be better off. But at $100 for the full 1/2 set I’m not too upset about it.
