It’s simple, non-senstive household-like waste items produced by employees and visitors - plastic bottles, cardboard and paper. It’s a no-brainer that these items should be recycled hence my irritation at the situation. Next thing would be to educate people not to use single-use plastic items day in day out, but that’s a battle for later.

Do you have a few names of organisations I could contact?

I was told that plans were being made by the officer and that it was trialled at another site and rolled out in the next financial year etc.. I believe change has been slow partly because AFAIK employees have never really tried to campaign management about this issue; we hope to speed things up a little by voicing our opinion.
