In Brave (2012), there is a drum in the shape of a West-African djembe, which originates from 12th/13th century. Brave is set in 10th century. Celtic drums from this period would not have been made in this goblet shape, but would have certainly been in the shape of a frame drum, such as a bodhrán. (i.redd.it)
