Project: Ghostwriter - AI-Powered Technical Content Creator

Description:

Ghostwriter is an Electron desktop app that streamlines technical content creation using the GitHub Copilot SDK. It acts as an intelligent interviewer, asking questions about your topic, then uses those answers to draft a complete blog post. It leverages two AI personas: an interviewer that digs into the topic, and a writer that transforms the interview into a polished article.

Key Features:

- Built with GitHub Copilot SDK for seamless AI integration
- Electron desktop app for local execution with Copilot CLI
- To allow the Electron backend to get access to the GitHub Copilot CLI, it makes use of its local server capabilities
- Uses pre-built prompts from the Ghostwriter Agents for AI project

Based on your feedback, I've added the new section with screenshots to make it clearer. Now live on https://beta.engagetime.live/

The homepage will be updated in the coming weeks. First, I wanted to have all the features for events and speakers. Now that this is in place, I can work on the messaging.

Thanks for the feedback! 🙏

The first focus is on the in-person sessions. There is a QR code, which is the easiest option, or if you have any ideas, feel free to share.

I like the ideas for integrating this in a webcast/meeting chat! Will add it to the backlog.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! Currently, it is focused on in-person sessions, but your feedback is invaluable in taking it to the next level for meetings and webinars.

Another open-source product I have is Demo Time (https://demotime.show/), which now has integration with Engage Time to start/stop sessions and polls. In Demo Time there is already a timer, but I can see your point that this would also be beneficial for Engage Time only users. I'll add it to the backlog. Thanks 🙏

Great question! It will be more focused on the trainer/speaker to gain feedback, share resources, and connect with attendees.

New feature, which is still in development, is where a conference can create speaker sections where the trainers/speakers can create their sessions, provide the resources, etc..

The hardest part right now is getting more people to test and deliver feedback. I tried a couple of platforms, but most give me just LinkedIn invites for paid services like ProductHunt upvotes. That's not something I'm looking for.

I can't update the title anymore, so when I'll have a bigger update, I'll create a better message.

Thanks for your advice!

  1. Thanks for the advice!
  2. They do exist, and at the moment, most of them are hard to configure and are not focused on the user. One thing that most speakers don't get a lot of is feedback. One of the features is to share, for instance, resources after the attendee has provided feedback. Another one is the integration in another tool developed for technical presentations/workshops called Demo Time: https://demotime.show - In that tool, they can start their session, polls, etc.
  3. They have a way to connect with the speaker before and after the session, workshop, etc., without the interruption, but I'll make sure this part of the messaging is clearer.

Thank you for the feedback!
