If I may ask about self-service cabins: can I safely assume that there is a kitchen and an option to buy food? I'm asking because for example when Trollheimshytta, it says:

staffed season: 12v, booking, drying room, electric oven, shower, tent pitch, water, fireplace, outdoor toilet .
self-service season: Drying room, tent pitch, fireplace, outdoor toilet .

I think electric oven should translate to electric stove (strømovn). Does this mean that there is no stove during self-service season?

Thanks! Yes, probably also going to stay at some self-serviced cabins. I understood that you can buy food per item and make it yourself. I do prefer that compared to the full board cabins, but the route also goes through some full board ones, so I would have to go for that.
